The thyroid is a radiation-sensitive organ of the human body and therefore in particular need of protection. Wearing appropriate protection during doseintensive examinations should therefore always be a matter of course. Our thyroid and sternum protector is characterised by its first-class cut and the best fit, taking into account all aspects of radiation protection. A simple, optionally replaceable hook & burr fastener ensures sufficient room for adjustment. An uncomplicated magnetic or hook-and-loop fastener, which can also be replaced as an option, provides sufficient scope for adjustment.
It goes without saying that our patient protection products comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 for personal protective equipment and (EU) 2017/745 for medical devices.
