Founded in 1978 by chemist Dr. Henning Schumacher, Dr. Schumacher GmbH continues to be a pioneer in the development of highly effective disinfectants that are also low in hazardous substances, making them particularly user and environmentally friendly. Today, his son Dierk Schumacher runs the company and is supported in the management by Dirk Hamenstädt. 

Headquartered in Malsfeld, Germany, Dr. Schumacher employs about 1.500 people world wide. The company also has production facilites in Lubań, Poland and in Izmir, Turkey and is one of the largest manufacturers of wet and dry wipes in Europe. Dr. Schumacher delivers around 11,300 tons of disinfectants and up to 500 million packaging units each year to over 70 countries world wide.
